Fair Tax Week 2026: Save the dates

We’re delighted to announce that Fair Tax Week 2026 will take place 21-28 June. This year Tax Justice Sunday will be on the last Sunday, 28 June.

Fair Tax Week is an annual awareness-raising week celebrating the many businesses that embrace corporate responsible tax conduct and the enormous contribution this makes across the world.

Through employee lunch-and-learns, expert webinars, networking events, blogs and media articles, social media posts and more, organisations have a platform to shout about the importance of corporate income tax and fair tax exemplars. Not least, the growing number of Fair Tax Mark accredited companies.

During the week, UK Councils for Fair Tax also explore the importance of fair tax for local economies, and our wider network of supporters have a platform on which to dissect the latest data on UK public attitudes to corporate tax conduct.

Paul Monaghan, CEO of the Fair Tax Foundation, said:

“Given all the doom and gloom out there, it’s more important than ever to recognise and celebrate the many, many businesses that embrace responsible tax conduct. It’s all too easy to fall into the trap of only talking about the corporate tax dodgers and assume that all businesses behave this way. This is not only unfair, but can actually exacerbate aggressive tax avoidance given that tax compliance is heavily influenced by what people think others are doing. If a person or business thinks that their neighbour or competitor is ‘at it’, then they are more likely to follow suit.

Fair Tax Week allows us all to celebrate and support the business exemplars and the crucial tax contribution they make. Fair Tax Mark businesses alone contribute a colossal €4.8bn / £4.1bn annually in corporate income tax worldwide. Fair Tax Week is also a key point in the year for Fair Tax councils and municipalities to salute corporate responsible tax conduct and the contribution it makes to vital public services at the local level.”

Sarah Edwards, Executive Director of the JustMoney Movement, added:

“It’s more relevant than ever for Christians to be talking about tax – as a way of caring for our neighbours. Tax Justice Sunday is an opportunity to reflect, pray and worship together, and to start a conversation in our churches about the role tax can and should play in our society.”
