Fair Tax Week 2025 announced: Get ready to celebrate

We’re delighted to announce this year Fair Tax Week will take place 8-15 June. Tax Justice Sunday will be on the first Sunday, 8 June.

Fair Tax Week is an annual awareness-raising week where organisations that are certified with the Fair Tax Mark label will share why they value responsible corporate tax by holding events, publishing thought leadership and posting on social media.

During the week, UK Councils for Fair Tax will also explore the importance of fair tax for local economies, and our wider network of supporters will have a platform on which to explore the latest data on UK public attitudes to corporate tax conduct.

Take a look at everything happening during the week so far.

Paul Monaghan, CEO of the Fair Tax Foundation, said:

“When progressive councils and businesses stand side-by-side and celebrate responsible tax conduct it sends a powerful message through villages, towns and cities across the country. Tax avoidance doesn’t just rob public services of vital revenue, it also undermines the ability of business to compete fairly, reduces national productivity and exacerbates inequality. Fair Tax Week is a great opportunity for pioneering Fair Tax councils and Fair Tax Mark business to connect and be rightly celebrated.”

Sarah Edwards, Executive Director of the JustMoney Movement, added:

“In contemporary society, tax can be a tool to help us care for our neighbours, especially the vulnerable, which is something the churches are passionate about. Tax can help address inequalities that have built up and raise revenue for public services. So we’re excited to mark Tax Justice Sunday again within Fair Tax Week this year, helping individuals and congregations to engage with this important topic.”
