Join us in celebrating Good Business Week

Responsible corporate tax conduct is key to good business. That’s why in the UK we’re partners with the Good Business Charter, which certifies best business practice in 10 key areas.

On 9-13 February 2026 we’ll be joining the Good Business Charter for Good Business Week – an annual awareness week celebrating responsible business across the UK.

This year’s theme is ‘raising the bar together’. We know many organisations are raising the bar by being certified with both the Fair Tax Mark and Good Business Charter. They are leading by example in how to do business right.

For example, Mitie have a highly responsible and public tax strategy with robust governance controls. This ensures it is being implemented throughout the multinational group. They even publicly confirm compliance with the commitments contained within it. Their Fair Tax Mark helps them excel in the tax component of the Good Business Charter, raising the bar for businesses everywhere.

Similarly, Leeds Building Society take corporate responsibility around tax transparency seriously, making it clear where they generate income and pay taxes.

Jaime Boswell, Head of Accreditation at the Fair Tax Foundation, said:

“We always love celebrating Good Business Week because it really shows how responsible tax fits into the ethos of good business, and vice versa. Paying corporate income tax fairly isn’t a one-size-fits-all endeavour so we’d love to see more good businesses enquire about how to do what’s right for them.”

If you are a business interested in the Fair Tax Mark, get in touch. We are offering 50% off the first year of Fair Tax Mark fees for any Good Business Charter businesses that apply during the week (9-13 February 2026). Please note your Good Business Charter accreditation in the comment box on the application form.
